Paul Smith’s College Partners with the Northwood School to bring Natural 历史 to downtown 普莱西德湖!

纽约州普莱西德湖.Y. – Paul Smith’s College has partnered with the Northwood School to bring Natural 历史 of the Adirondacks to downtown 普莱西德湖 at the Innovation Hub. Beginning July 28 through 2023年8月25日, Paul Smith’s College professors will introduce the community to the plants 和 animals that live here. Through interactive presentations, faculty will share more information about mammals, 两栖动物, 和 other living organisms of the Adirondacks. Community members 和 visitors alike will learn something new!

The Northwood School’s Innovation Hub, located at 2495 Main St., 普莱西德湖, NY 12946, opened in 2020 和 is committed to promoting collaboration, 订婚, 和合作伙伴, capitalizing on the shared knowledge, 创新, 和 creativity within our community.

“This partnership with the Northwood School allows us to showcase the power of collaboration 和 the collective efforts we must take to protect the place we call home, the beautiful Adirondacks. We pride ourselves on research 和 advocacy on issues that improve our planet 和 the lives of the people who inhabit it” Interim President Dan Kelting said.

Both the Northwood School 和 Paul Smith’s College share a commitment to place-based learning 和 welcome the opportunity to showcase our shared commitment in downtown 普莱西德湖 with our entire community” said Thomas P Broderick Associate Head of School for External Affairs.

The public is welcome to join us every Friday night at 7pm for a free presentation that is open to all ages. A full schedule of presentations is below.
